The FBIACAA Presents

New Mexico Youth Conference On Addiction

Featuring The Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation

The Albuquerque FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association, in Partnership with the DEA and The Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation and Christopher Productions, is proud to sponsor and excited to announce the presentation of the New Mexico Youth Conference on Addiction.

WHEN: Thursday, October 17th 2019

WHERE: Volcano Vista High School Performing Arts Center (PAC)

TIME: 6:30PM-8:30PM

The Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation and Millennium Health present If Only, a short film intended for teens, parents and adults to raise awareness about the dangers of prescription drug misuse and abuse and to start a conversation that encourages the safe use, storage and disposal of prescription drugs to keep them out of the hands of kids.

In addition to the presentation by the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation, we are grateful to have the support of Christopher Productions and the showing of the recent locally produced VAPE Documentary to help inform our community of the issues with Vaping.

“VAPE” is centered around a documentary program regarding the use of E-cigarettes especially in the youth community so parents, educators and juveniles understand the spectrum of health issues and dangers associated with these products. Because the number of youth users is rising dramatically, the program helps explain the product and its various uses including for nicotine and cannabis consumption. Communities, parents, and, most importantly, teen peers will learn the current facts around this kind of ingestion.
