Tim Sheahan

PRESIDENT

Tim has been a leader in the non-profit sector for over 40 years. First with Boys & Girls Clubs of America and recently as the Executive Director of the New Mexico Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Sheahan believes in giving back to the community he lives and works in. He is a past President of the Albuquerque Police Citizen’s Academy Alumni Association, and a member of the Bernalillo Sheriff’s Citizens Academy Alumni Association. He also serves as a Big Brother. Tim has a strong record of active community and law enforcement engagement. Tim has earned a Master of Science in Human Services in Human Resource Management and Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies

Joyce Montoya-Roach

VICE PRESIDENT, EVENTS& HISTORIAN

Joyce is currently an Associate Director of Admissions, Lewis University. She is a retired Detective, Albuquerque Police Department. In APD Joyce served in many capacities throughout her career but found her love in teaching the Drug AbuseResistance Education program and the Gang Resistance Education and Training program. Joyce has been a lifelong learner, pursuing two degrees as well as other interests; including earning a massage therapy license in the State of New Mexico in both massage therapy, and advanced master level massage techniques. She attended the American Coaching Education Program through the New Mexico Athletic Association to become a basketball coach.

Shane Carr

COMMUNICATIONS

Shane currently works at the US Job Corps Center in Albuquerque as the Security and Transportation Manager. He manages a team of 19 Professionals servicing a campus of 25 acres, 100 staff members and 280 students. Shane previously worked 25 years for Honeywell International as a Security professional. Shane holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona State University and is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP). Shane is a Toastmaster and PTO President at an Elementary School.

Tom Jenkins

TREASURER

Tom Jenkins is a founding Principal and Qualifying Broker of REAL ESTATE ADVISORS. Tom brings over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate. With extensive experience in investment sales, leasing and tenant representation, Mr. Jenkins has developed a reputation for creating and enhancing value for his clients through the implementation of well executed real estate strategies. His knowledge and expertise in asking the right questions make Tom a trusted advisor and core team member in some of the largest transactions to ever occur in New Mexico.

Betty Glover

SECRETARY

Betty has served in a variety of roles since joining Sandia in 2000. Betty is currently the Business Program Lead, providing business expertise to the Sandia Radar ISR program and support to the 5340 business team to ensure consistent, timely and accurate planning, monitoring and reporting on program, projects, and indirect funds. Betty is active in several initiatives in our community: member of the Rio Grande Down Syndrome Network, participates in United Way’s Women United activities, and volunteers in other community-focused efforts.

Delfina Salazar

COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Delfinia “Del” Salazar, the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Integration at Sandia National Laboratories, leads supplier diversity and outreach, policy and compliance, supply risk management, and supply chain assurance activities at Sandia National Laboratories. These programs are integral to the acquisition and subcontract management of more than $1.5 billion dollars’ worth of goods and services annually. Del also leads efforts to identify and promote the utilization of capable, diverse small businesses to partner with Sandia to achieve its national security mission. Del joined Sandia in 2003 and has served in a variety of roles.

JEFF WEST

MEMBER

Jeff has over thirty years’ experience in the design, fabrication, integration, field test, and deployment of advanced weapon systems with the Department of Defense and now with Sandia National Laboratories. Working with the Air Force he was the program manager for a space-based laser weapon development program. Working with the Army he was the lead engineer for a Presidentially-directed multi-national air-defense system development program from initial concept design through planning for operational deployment. He has obtained three degrees from the University of New Mexico and is a distinguished graduate of Air War College.

Betty Rosenberg

MEMBERSHIP CHAIR

Betty R. Rosenberg began her career as a teacher working in Africa and Pakistan. Prior to returning to the United States, she traveled through the Indian subcontinent, including Afghanistan, as a photojournalist. After earning an associate degree in engineering, she was assigned by IBM to Stockholm, Sweden, working in R&D. After six years she returned to the U.S., obtained a graduate degree in journalism and went on assignment to Beijing, China, where for seven years she worked as a journalist and in various capacities at the American Embassy. After 34 years mostly overseas, she returned to Albuquerque in 2001 and worked at Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation in marketing and public relations until retirement in 2014. She was a founding member of the FBI Albuquerque Citizen’s Academy Alumni Association. She served as its president in 2012 and 2013 and continued on the board until 2016. In addition, in 2013 she served as President of Reform synagogue  Congregation Albert, the oldest Jewish organization in the state. Currently she is on the board of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Albuquerque, actively serving since 2014.  In January 2020 she rejoined the FBIACAAA board.

Shannon Muller

My name is Shannon Muller, I work for the Department of Energy’s Kansas City National Security Campus New Mexico Operations, managed by Honeywell as Senior Production Readiness Manager. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business, Concentration in Management and Masters Business Administration degree. I am a Six Sigma Lean Expert with 15 years of professional experience driving continuous improvement activities, managing diverse teams and providing direction to teams and individuals with lean six sigma tools, project management, organizational development, change management, and coaching.

The FBI Albuquerque Citizens Academy Alumni Association is a nonprofit organization separate and apart from FBI.
